Put simply, free images are all over the internet! For general use, you do not need licensing for images online, however if you are thinking of adding images to your books, blog or even your YouTube video, there are a lot of stock image websites available.
These websites provide mostly free images with a really small watermark(barely visible). There a thousands of images on a variety of topics as well.
There are a lot of paid content in stock image websites so be careful.
