Let’s know about gallons and pints in the USA:
Although there are many definitions of the gallon or pint, only three are currently in use. These are the USA dry gallon, USA imperial gallon, and the USA liquid gallon. Dry gallons are used less often. It makes sense only to consider USA imperial gallons as well as USA liquid gallons.
Likewise, only three pints are in daily use: the USA dry pint, the USA imperial pint, and the USA liquid pint.

These American units of volume (pint & gallon) are created from the imperial system. However, the British Imperial system also includes the pint or gallon as a volume unit. It is easy to convert between them.
1 pint(pt) = 1/8 gallon
1 gallon(gal) = 8 pint
Similar to the above, we can convert gallons to pints by multiplying by 8. And pints to gallons by dividing by 8.
