Enabling gzip compression is important to speed up your website loading speed and save bandwidth. If you enable gzip compression in Cpanel, it will load the website content in a compressed form.

Follow the steps to enable gzip compression in Cpanel

Step 1: Login to your Cpanel

Step2: Search for “Optimize Website” and go inside “Optimize Website.”

      Enable gzip compression in Cpanel

Step 3: Here, you will find three options as in the below image:

gzip compression 3 options in Cpanel

      • Disabled – choose this option to disable gzip compression for your website.
      • Compress all content – Choose this option to compress all of your website content.
      • Compress the specified MIME types – Choose this option to enable gzip compression in specific files only

Step 4: At last click on “update settings” button and you are done.
